Safety is the first priority of the dojo. All rules are meant to keep the students from getting injured and contribute to their success in the art of Ju Jitsu
Students should never use any techniques not previously explained by an instructor. Many techniques, if done incorrectly, can injure the student and/or the training partner.
Students should not engage in Randori (sparring) without the supervision of an instructor or senior student.
Students should cooperate with their training partner. Resisting a technique or twisting out of a throw often results in injury. Students must learn to go with the flow of a technique. Students are trained to fall properly.
Students should use control when executing techniques. Students should always control their partner's fall.
Students should be aware of their surroundings not to throw their partners off the training mat.
Students should respect and obey instructors and higher ranks and seek to train with higher ranking students as often as they can.
All injuries must be reported to the instructor.
